We are a small family-owned and operated business based in Melbourne, Australia. When we met more than a decade ago, we knew it would be forever. Being creative and interested in attaining knowledge we have always been the types to deeply research and explore any area that sparked joy or interest within us.

Having always held an innate love of natural herbs and plant medicine, we often made our own concoctions and remedies, but that love fully bloomed into what it is today when we decided to try for a family in 2020 amidst the throws of what was notoriously a tumultuous year for the world.

We had planned on a wedding but 2020 had other plans for us and two cancelled weddings later and in the midst of the first of what would be many, extremely long lockdowns, we realised that we couldn’t wait any longer to start a family and went about making our first of many wellness blends: a fertility tea to help us achieve our most valuable goal ever.

That year took a lot, but what it did give us was the gift of time and reflection. We realised that wellness and family are really the most important aspects of life and that being able to take some control over one’s own health and wellbeing is pivotal to a happy, well-balanced existence. We finally had the opportunity to dive deep into the pursuit of knowledge, spending months researching and formulating blends and building the solid foundations that Anthera is based on today. 

Soon we were happily distracted from this task with hospital visits and ultrasounds and finally our beautiful son River was earthside January 2022.

Life has never been so beautifully chaotic and we are so proud to share something that is a labour of our love and devotion. We have painstakingly developed every last part of Anthera ourselves, including the logo, blends, photos and website. There is no part that isn’t authentic to who we are and we can’t wait for you to join us on this wellness journey.
