Hawthorn is one of the oldest medicinal plants known in Europe. Today the leaves, flowers, and berries are used to help protect against heart disease, control high blood pressure and cholesterol, and improve circulation.

Anthocyanins, found in hibiscus and hawthorn, inhibits the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and slows the release of hormones that cause blood vessels to constrict whilst cinnamon helps the body to maintain and regulate healthy blood glucose levels, particularly among those that are type 2 diabetic or prediabetic. Goji berry is a delicious addition known as an antioxidant-filled superfood and linden is added to enhance flavour and fragrance but is also an amazing and soothing nervine herb.

The result is a brew brimming with bright citrusy notes that is slightly tangy and sweet. These herbs not only taste bright and refreshing, but also work synergistically together to help to reduce hypertension.

Serving Suggestion: Pour 1.5 cups hot water over 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes. If desired, add a touch a touch of honey to taste.
